Brain Builders
Pre-K Academy offers a series of fun and engaging enrichment classes that help further prepare children for Kindergarten.
Reading Rock Stars
This class will have your child rocking and rolling into the world of language and literacy! The Reading Rocks Stars curriculum uses a multi-sensory, very explicit approach to teach phonological awareness. Children will learn how to orally sound out words, count phonemes, identify rhymes, segment syllables, and more. Our educational learning props make getting the brain ready to read fun and engaging.
Letter Engineers
Come build letters with us! Students will begin to explore their creative sides by using materials such as sensory trays, puppet pencils, finger flashlights, and letter sticks to learn how to write! Children will learn about physics and problem solving while strengthening their understanding of the alphabet.
Vivacious Vocab!
Even preschoolers can learn to be articulate! Our silly puppet, Articulate Annie, will teach your child advanced vocabulary words through books, songs, plays, and more! Research shows that a strong vocabulary in preschool helps strengthen reading comprehension skills in elementary school.
ABC Chefs
This interactive cooking class gives children the chance to discover the joy of cooking. They will learn how to measure ingredients, follow a recipe, and cook foods from apple pie to zebra parfaits!
Artist A to Z
Children will learn about different artists and art mediums, plus have the opportunity to create their own art masterpieces. Throughout each class, alphabet letters and sounds will be reinforced within the context of the lesson.
ABC Yoga & Mindfulness
Children will learn important school-readiness skills such as impulse control, mental flexibility, and following directions. These skills are taught through mindful movement games, breathing exercises, and yoga poses. The letters and sounds of the alphabet are reinforced throughout every lesson.
